How we work

You hand over the search and keep control of every decision.

Senior tech recruiters who know your market, read your stack and frame the process with you.

When an open role is holding back your roadmap, your time is the scarcest resource. Six steps take the search from the first brief to the first months of your new hire, with a few clear decisions on your side.

  1. Frame the search

With your hiring manager, we agree on the scope, the five weighted criteria of the Scoring Grid, the salary range, the interview stages and, where it helps, the hiring plan.

Your partOne working session with your hiring manager.

  2. Map the market

We map where the profiles sit, in France, in the US or both, and share early what the market says about level, pay, notice periods and what makes candidates say yes.

Your partConfirm the target profile and the salary range.

  3. Interview the candidates

A senior tech recruiter takes each candidate through their own work, the stack, the architecture and their decisions, and closes with the same five questions.

    Your partYour engineers keep building.

  4. Share written evidence

Within five business days, the first profiles arrive, each with written evidence on the Scoring Grid, open questions and gaps, prepared with AI and signed off by a senior recruiter.

    Your partChoose who to meet.

  5. Run your interviews

We brief your interviewers on the Scoring Grid and on inclusive interview rules, align the stages and collect feedback after each step, so decisions move quickly.

Your partYour interviews, with feedback within 48 hours.

  6. Close and follow through

We check the offer against the market, handle the negotiation and stay in touch through the notice and trial period, covered by our three-month replacement guarantee.

Your partThe final decision, which stays yours.

After every hire

A retrospective, the way engineering teams run them.

At the end of each search, we review it with you: what the Scoring Grid predicted well, which interview stages added value, and what candidates said about your process. The next search starts from there, back at step 01, with everything we learned.

What stays with you
  • The Scoring Grid of the role
  • Market notes on pay and availability
  • Interview guides for your team
  • Candidate feedback on your process

Hiring in France

Build your team in France with recruiters who know the market from the inside.

France has deep engineering talent and a fast-growing AI scene. Senior profiles are in high demand, so every hire needs a clear story and a realistic plan.

01

Senior engineers have choices

In Paris, your offer is compared with big tech, scaleups and well-funded AI startups. The best candidates move for a clear project, a strong team and a product they believe in.

02

The notice period sets the date

Senior profiles often have a three-month notice period. We build your hiring plan around the real start date and stay close to candidates until their first day.

03

An offer is more than a salary

Offers combine a fixed salary, a bonus and sometimes equity. Candidates also weigh remote work, the team and the product, so we share market benchmarks early to help your offer land.

Before you hire

What changes in France

  • ContractThe permanent contract, the CDI, is the standard for senior tech roles, and most candidates expect it.
  • Trial periodUp to four months for managers and engineers, renewable once when the contract allows it. Our replacement guarantee covers the first three months.
  • Pay and timeSalary is discussed as an annual gross amount, sometimes over thirteen months. Senior roles often work on a yearly day count with extra days off.
  • Non-competeValid only with a payment to the employee, so we check each candidate's situation before the first interview.
  • LanguageTech teams work in English day to day, and many candidates prefer to discuss their offer in French. We run every search in both.

Hiring in the US

Hire in the US with recruiters who keep pace with the market.

The US market moves fast. Strong engineers receive several offers and decide within days, so speed and a clear story matter as much as the package.

01

Top talent moves quickly

Top engineers often accept an offer within weeks of starting to look. We agree a short interview process with you before sourcing starts, so your team can decide in time.

02

Short notice, short window

Notice is usually two weeks, so a hire can start soon after the offer is signed. The real challenge is to go from first interview to offer before another company does.

03

Every offer is a full package

Candidates compare base salary, bonus and equity side by side. We help you position your package against the market and explain your equity in simple terms.

Before you hire

What changes in the US

  • EmploymentMost jobs are at will, so either side can end the contract with short notice, and the first months work as a test on both sides.
  • EquityStock options or shares often vest over four years, and candidates compare the full value of each offer.
  • BenefitsHealth insurance comes through the employer and weighs heavily in the choice, along with paid time off.
  • Pay transparencySeveral states, including California, New York, Colorado and Washington, require a salary range in the job ad.
  • Work permitsSome candidates need a visa to work in the US, so we confirm each person's status at the first call.

Engagement models

Choose the engagement model that fits your team.

Every model follows the same method and the same commitments on both sides. The difference lies in how much of your hiring we take on, and for which roles.

Model 01

Contingency Search

One role matters, and you want the right person in it.

When to use it

You have one or a few key roles to fill, from engineers to staff and principal level, and you want a specialist to reach the candidates your job ads will miss. You pay the fee when your new hire joins.

How we work with you

A senior tech recruiter runs your search from the intake to the signed offer. Together we agree on the Scoring Grid for the role, then we map the market, approach candidates directly, interview them on real cases and present a short list with a written report on each profile. We recommend working on an exclusive basis, so candidates hear one clear story about your company.

What you get
  • A short list of candidates assessed against the Scoring Grid
  • A written report on every candidate you meet
  • A fee paid when your new hire joins
  • Close follow-up until the first day

After a first call, we send you a written proposal for your roles, with the fee, the timeline and what is included. Every search comes with a three-month replacement guarantee.

Conditions for success

What we need from you to keep our commitments

  1. One clearly identified decision-maker for each search
  2. An honest view from your hiring managers on the real context of the role, including its challenges and the team dynamics
  3. Hiring managers available for interviews and calibration sessions within 5 business days
  4. Feedback within 48 to 72 hours, specific enough for candidates to understand the decision
  5. One Scoring Grid agreed before the interviews begin
  6. The same evaluation criteria from the start to the end of the search
  7. Early access to the salary range for the role

Clear commitments on both sides are what make hiring predictable.

Hiring FAQ

Questions founders and tech leaders ask us.

Answers to the questions that come up in our first calls.

We bring together three things you rarely find in one firm: a close knowledge of the tech market in France and the US, where we have built R&D and product teams for fifteen years; the technical depth to read a stack, an architecture and a level; and the ability to frame your hiring process with you, from the hiring plan to the interview rules.

AI helps us move faster at each step, and every decision stays with a recruiter. You get the rigor of an in-house tech recruiting team with the reach of a specialist firm, and you keep every decision.

Our recruiters have spent years hiring for R&D and product teams, so they speak your language: stacks, architecture, levels and scope. At intake, we agree with you on a Scoring Grid that lists the skills the role really needs.

In our interviews, we go deep on real cases: a system the candidate built, the architecture choices behind it, the trade-offs, what went wrong and what they would change. For senior and leadership roles, we also look at how they make decisions, grow people and work with product. With the candidate’s agreement, we speak with people who worked with them.

Any technical test stays with your team, later in the process. You receive a short written report for each candidate, built on the same Scoring Grid, so you can compare profiles on facts.

AI is part of our hiring system, at each step where it saves time or brings consistency. We use it to map the market and spot relevant profiles, to review each profile against your Scoring Grid, to prepare structured interview guides and to write clear reports after each interview.

Every assessment and every recommendation is made by a recruiter who has met the candidate. Candidate data is handled in line with the GDPR, and your confidential information stays within our team.

Inclusion starts with the process. Every candidate is assessed against the same Scoring Grid, on the skills and experience the role really needs, so decisions rest on facts. We write job ads in neutral language, open each search to different paths, such as coding schools or career changers, and work to build diverse shortlists.

In France and in the US, the law protects candidates on criteria such as age, origin, gender, pregnancy, family situation or health. We brief your interviewers on the questions to ask and the topics to leave aside, and every candidate gets a clear answer and useful feedback, whatever the outcome.

You receive the first profiles within five business days of the intake. Each candidate has been approached, interviewed and assessed against your Scoring Grid, and comes with a short report on their background, their motivation, their expectations and the points to explore in your interviews.

We prefer a short list of strong profiles to a long list of CVs, so your team spends its time on the right people. After the first interviews, we adjust the search with you based on your feedback, and new candidates keep coming until the role is filled.

Yes, and as early as the intake. We compare your offer, your titles, your remote policy and your interview process with what we see in our current searches in France and the US.

If something is likely to slow the search or cost you a candidate, we tell you clearly, with data and with options. Good news or bad news, you get the full picture, so you can decide fast.

Yes. For a leadership role, or to replace someone still in post, we describe the role to candidates in general terms and share your company name only with the people who confirm their interest and agree to keep it private.

Every person who works on the search follows the same rules, and you decide who learns about it and when.

We recommend it, because it works better for everyone. Candidates hear one clear story about your company, the market is approached once and in a consistent way, and we can commit more time and more people to your search.

When several agencies work on the same role, the same engineers often get three calls about one job, and the image of your company suffers. With one partner, you also get one point of contact and one clear view of the search. The choice stays yours, and we are happy to discuss it at intake.

Your teams stay off-limits for our searches, during our collaboration and for a period after it, set in our contract. This applies to every recruiter who works with us, because during a search you open your doors to us: your managers, your roadmap, your people.

Our fee depends on the engagement model you choose. After a first call, we send you a written proposal for your roles, with the fee, the timeline and what is included.

For a Contingency Search, you pay the fee when your new hire joins. An Embedded Recruiter is billed each month, for as long as you need the extra capacity. An Executive Search starts with a first payment at launch, and Talent Operations is priced as a project, based on the scope we agree together.

Every search includes a three-month replacement guarantee. If the new hire leaves within three months, we run the search again, included in our fee, under the terms set in our contract.
